From finding the right fit to shopping online, here are answers to some of the questions we hear most.
Chances are, you're not the first person to ask it. Check out some of our most common questions below or stop into either Achilles location and talk with our team.
What to expect when you come in for shoes.
We start by getting to know you, your goals and what you're looking for in a shoe. From there, our team can measure your feet, watch you walk or jog and look at how your body moves.
Depending on your needs, the process may also include:
Yes! If you have a pair you've been running, walking or spending a lot of time in, bring them along. Wear patterns can give our team another look at how you're moving and what may or may not be working for you.
Not at all. We work with runners, walkers, athletes, healthcare workers, people who spend all day on their feet and anyone simply looking for a more comfortable pair of shoes.
You don't need to be training for a race to shop Achilles.
Nope. That's what we're here for. Tell us what you're doing, how your current shoes feel and what you're hoping to find. We'll help narrow down the options from there.
That's perfectly fine, too. If you already have a shoe you love, our team can help you find your size, check out the latest version or compare it with similar options.
A few things to know about finding the right products.
We carry shoes for running, walking, trails, racing, everyday comfort and more, along with a variety of apparel, socks, inserts and accessories.
Talk with our team. If another size, color or option is available to order, we'll help you figure out the best way to get what you're looking for.
There isn't one exact number that works for everyone. Shoe lifespan can depend on mileage, how you use them, the surfaces you're on, your movement and how the shoe is wearing down.
If you're unsure, bring your current pair in and our team can take a look.
Not everyone does. During the fit process, our team can help determine whether an insert or orthotic may improve the fit or feel of your shoes and let you test options when appropriate.
